El Paso Mountains/Jawbone Canyon Meetings

THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE TO KEEP ROADS IN THE EL PASO MOUNTAINS AND OTHER AREAS NEAR RIDGECREST OPEN FOR PUBLIC USE

The Bureau of Land Management will begin meetings for the Collaborative Access Planning Area (CAPA) and YOUR attendance and participation is important if you want to keep your access for off-road recreation, hunting,
hiking, rockhounding, prospecting, historic site visitation, wildflower viewing, stargazing, equestrian events, photography, or any of the many other types of family outdoor recreation.
BLM MEETING/WORKSHOP SCHEDULE:

Ridgecrest workshops:
* Thursday, Oct. 25, 6 - 9 p.m.
* Saturday, Nov. 17, 9 a.m. to 12 noon.
Carriage Inn, 901 N. China Lake Blvd., Ridgecrest CA

Bakersfield workshop:
* Wednesday, Nov. 14, 6 - 9 p.m.
BLM Field Office, 3801 Pegasus Dr., Bakersfield CA

Jawbone workshop:
* Thursday, Nov. 15, 6 - 9 p.m.
Jawbone Station Visitors Center, Hwy 14 at Jawbone Canyon Rd, Cantil, CA
